Luhur Watukaru temple is situated at Wangaya Gede village about 21 km North-west from Tabanan town. This temple includes one of Sad Kahyangan or Six Holy National Temple in Bali. The temple is surrounded by thick vegetation and invigorating fresh air. In this temple there are old Balinese remains. Many visitors come to visit this temple, both local and foreign, especially on its temple festival, which is usually held on Umanis Galungan, one day after Galungan.
